May 2021

May 2019

In May of 2019 the Dayton area was hit by several devastating tornadoes, it left entire neighborhoods leveled or severely damaged. It also left the surrounding towns in need of everything, from water, food, tarps and everyday essentials.
Like many other groups and organizations, the Heartland Defenders called upon its members and friends to gather donations and take a trip to the devastated area to help in whatever way we could.
The area will take a long time to recover and the Heartland Defenders are hoping to help the residents in anyway we can.
Thank you to everyone that made the trip and donated items!!!

April 2019

On April 6th 2019 the Heartland Defenders attended and provided security for the Defending Freedom Action Summit.
This was a speaking and networking event presented by The Second Amendment Institute for people of all walks of life from students to professionals, with multiple topics on preserving, protecting, and defending the Constitution.
Some of the topics included- gun rights on campus, advancing liberty, criminal justice reform and many more. Some of the speakers present were Maj Toure, Ford Fisher, Will Chamberlin, John Philip Sousa iv and many more!!!
It was an amazing experience and we look forward to attending the event in 2020!!!

March 2019

On March 28th 2019 the Heartland Defenders attended the We Will Not Comply rally with our Patriot Brothers and Sisters from all over Ohio and surrounding states. The event was scheduled to be a protest against unfair and unconstitutional language in a law that was about to take effect.
However thanks to the activism of many groups throughout Ohio, we were able to get the legislatures to fix the bill in question, which turned the event into a celebration and a stand for our Constitutional rights.
It was a great day and a great time with our fellow Patriots.

September 2018

September 8th 2018, we were given the opportunity to provide a secure and safe location for the speakers at M.O.A.R 2018 at the National Mall in Washington D.C.
A very powerful day indeed! From the speakers, the musical acts, to all of the like minded patriots from around the country. Even the rain couldn't bring us down!
M.O.A.R 2018 was a great opportunity to come together with our brothers and sisters and spread message! We had a table at the patriot fair where we gave out information and met so many awesome people! Folks working at the patriot fair made us proud!
Thank you to everyone who came to support us and the U.S.A!
Can't wait to see everyone at M.O.A.R 2019!!!

June 2018

On June 9th the Defenders came together again for another community project, this time to help out at the Ronald McDonald House Columbus.
This time we had a picnic for the families staying there. We provided all of the food, we grilled, we did face painting, and made paracord keychains with the guests. Plus as an added bonus the Defenders came together as a group to bring toys and goodies not just for the current guests but plenty of extras for future guests.
Before we left we had one more suprise, we also presented RMH Columbus a generous cash donation!!!
It was just another example of what we are about and how we put your donations to work. Thank You to everyone for supporting this event and your continued support for future projects!!!

MAY 2018

The Defenders came out in full force for the primaries, this is not just a privilege but your duty as an American!!!

"Should things go wrong at any time, the people will set them to rights by the peaceable exercise of their elective rights. "
Thomas Jefferson

"The people in general ought to have regard to the moral character of those whom they invest with authority either in the legislative, executive, or judicial branches. "
John Witherspoon

"Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual--or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country. "
Samuel Adams

Ronald McDonald house Cleveland April 21,2018

On the morning of April 21st, 2018 a group of the Defenders family from all over the state came together to volunteer their time and sweat to help out the good people at RMH Cleveland. They worked throughout the day on several projects. Their efforts helped save the RMH thousands of dollars that they could use elsewhere, it was an amazing experience for all. Plus due to the efforts of those that attended, the Defenders were invited by the RMH staff to return in November to help with the fall clean up. Its projects like these that are made possible by donations from our members and those that are not members but want to help us continue to serve our communities and Ohio. If you are not able to attend these events but want to help out, please donate to the group on our home page.
Thank You to everyone that attended and donated to the project!!!
