Why I am a Defender by m. cosper

So let me explain why I am here and why I put so much time plus yes money into this group. It’s not because I’m a rich man or have no family life. As a 47 year old man I have seen quite a bit in my lifetime, around 10 or so years ago I began seeing clear signs of a deterioration of the American way of life. Obvious taking of our Constitutional rights and freedoms. It was then I started preparing for what may come. I did a lot of outside training and began learning things I didn’t have a clue about, all in the name of preparing. I did most of this as a single unit, being just my family.

Then I began to notice this push we now call the Patriot movement along with other names. It was then that I began to follow groups and started to look for like minded people who would become extended family if that were to come. It was then that I attended a small leadership meeting at a winery and just like the first time I met my wife,
I knew this was the home I was looking for. Because for me this is no hobby, this is a lifestyle, a preservation of my beliefs and freedoms with an extended family that I can count on to have my six if that day may come.

I believe most of are here for similar reasons and with that as leaders we must dedicate some time to this movement, or it is for not. We must lead our members and keep them engaged, while also seeking out others who may feel the same as us. This obviously requires a certain amount of time and a desire to make this bigger than ourselves. If you don’t have the time to dedicate then perhaps you should pass the torch to someone that does and become a supporting member to them.

We can accomplish great things as an extended family and group if we are willing to make some small sacrifices from time to time.

Which brings me back to my opening statement, the reason I do what I do for this group and movement is that what good will my money, time, beliefs, Family be worth if we allow this Country and the Constitution to crumble and fall apart. I’m not saying you have to donate hundreds of dollars or hours to this group, but you must dedicate some. For me the time is now, we have sat back and been the silent majority for way to long, we must stand up as Americans and Patriots, be heard and be seen, before it is too late!!!

This is why I am here and why I do what I do, God Bless and have a great day my Patriot Brothers and Sisters!!!

Well said brother.
I agree it does take some time to be active in this group, but that is why I joined this group ,we are active. We also need to spend a little and look at the bigger picture of being able to sustain our hopes of making a difference.
