On a rainy night in early October 35 people sat around a fire and discussed the topic of branching out and following our leader on a journey that we didn’t really understand. Although we all had ideas, the reality was… our plan was far out in left field. Would we succeed? Could we become the group that we all wanted? Before the night was over every brain was turning, every thought bubble was exploding as the next one popped up. Our journey was just beginning and yet, one was ending. The positive thing that came from our previous adventure was that it brought those 35 people together for one cause, it brought more friends and for some of us, it brought more family. The bonds that we have created will always be some of the greatest bonds a person could want. And so that night, the framework was beginning to be laid, our leaders had the backing they needed to make the moves that would rid us of tyranny, and blindly following
a man set out to become rich.
Fast forward about a month, we have now established a council of people to “run” the business side of things, 6 people who’s only goal is to see this group succeed. There is no one person to rule them all, there is 6 equal parts to running the “business”. The organization itself is still ran by every member. Of course, there is a hierarchy, with our leaders all coming together for the same goal…. To watch this organization, grow just as the business will grow. There is so many different aspects and angles to this that we need everybody on the same page and willing to do what it takes to be successful. Our district leads, zone leads, and council members have all been asked to do many different jobs and tasks, and sometimes we need to remember that although we all love this group of fellow patriots, sometimes life gets in the way. We are all Americans, but we are all struggling in some way. We all have different opinions about how things should be done, and we all have ideas on how we can make it better. We all however need to treat each other with the respect that we ALL deserve.
Becoming the United Heartland Defenders will take effort and as much as we don’t want to have to say this, it’s going to take money. Money To get the store off the ground, to get all of our little ducks (even the ugly one) in a row to achieve all these plans that ALL of us have to succeed. It might seem like right now all we’re doing is asking for donations, raffles and toy drives, but when you stand back and look at it, we’re asking for every single member to help us achieve the goals we have set into place. Eventually when we’re completely up and running the donations will taper off, we won’t need you to just donate your hard-earned cash, we’ll have things, and items to make tangible. You’ll see the success we have in the products we are selling. You will see the success we have in the trainings. You will see the success in the group growing and thriving together as one. Please don’t think that we have the lost sight in what truly matters, this little side road will get us to where we need to be, we just need to stay our course and muscle through till the end.
“Rome wasn’t built in a day” Hell America wasn’t built in a month. We have the tools, we have the knowledge, we even have the people, now we just need to build.
This long road we have stumbled upon is one of adventure, learning, teaching, camaraderie, and patriotism. I’m sure we all have different reasons to have wanted to become a three percenter, but all those reasons lay at the wayside, only because without each and every one of you we the UNITED HEARTLAND DEFENDERS would not exist.
This is a open blog, so we have many authors. If you would like to contribute please contact us here.
