Did that get your attention? Oprah in 2020? My initial thought was “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!”. Trump should just push the Easy Button. This campaign is going to be extra nastily awesome! The debates are going to be wicked! He’s going to run her through the shredder and make her cry like a little girl on national TV. Wish the 2018 mid-terms were done already. Let’s get ready to rumble. Then the initial euphoria wore off and I came to my senses. Actually I talked with a few women. While I was convinced that the silent majority is still not ready for a woman commander- in- chief, much less an African-American woman, they believe she is going to win. And these are conservative women I was speaking with. So I pried my eye away from the knothole and started viewing it from different perspectives. That’s right. Back in 2016 people were saying they would’ve voted for a woman for president. Just not “THAT” woman. The woman who couldn’t be trusted. The classified e-mail shredder. The one who should be in e-mail shredder. The one who should be in prison instead of being president. The one who threatened her husband’s sexual advance victims rather than supporting them. The one responsible for four American patriots being murdered in Benghazi. The one who sold our uranium to the Russians. The lifelong politician that’s making millions off her own charitable foundation. That’s the candidate Trump barely beat.
We all know Hillary ran a sloppy and lazy campaign. Why not? She already had it in the bag. We know that the DNC was a disarrayed cluster bomb. We think they may have rigged the democratic nomination away from Bernie. It’s no big secret that Barack Obama was never really in her corner. After that embarrassment and having to suffer it’s consequences for four years after, you know the party of liberals is going to rebuild that machine. They’re going to put in a new engine, replace the tires, fine tune it, and most importantly , hire a new driver. If that driver turns out to be Oprah Winfrey we are in for one hell of a race. Does anyone know of any scandal she has been involved in? I don’t. Maybe it’s time to start digging up the dirt. Born poor in rural Mississippi, moved to inner-city Milwaukee as a child, became pregnant at 14 after being molested (baby died in infancy), landed a job in radio in high school and co-anchored the evening news at 19. Today she owns her own media conglomerate and is worth more than 3 billion dollars. I’m not trying to glamorize her biography here. I’m just imagining the effect her story will have on the average unenlightened American voter. Remember, Trump was born with the silver spoon. She IS the American dream to young women. With her popularity even before the current political climate I’m not so sure she wouldn’t do fairly well as a write in candidate at this point in time. Just look at the response she received at the Golden Globes while virtually saying nothing! Oprah really gained most of her popularity hosting her show from Chicago. Hmmm, what a coincidence. No doubt Barack and Michelle will be key figures in her corner publicly and privately if she were to decide to run. Besides the GOP having crappy candidates, what is the one key thing he was able to do to make himself become the first African-American in our nation’s history? He was able to get out the vote. He was able to galvanize black voters to get out and vote in historic numbers. He’ll get that machine ramped up for her. He and Michelle will be back basking in the limelight which they so much love back out on the campaign trail. He gave everyone a free cell phone. Maybe she will give everyone a new Pontiac G-6. The main stream media, as off as they were about the last election, will pump just as much sunshine at her campaign with just as much effort as they pump fake news and scandals at Trump’s. Celebrity backing and campaign donations? Not that she needs it, but come on. The main point being made against her now politically is that she has no political experience. Well neither did the Donald. That was his selling point. So if she wins what happens? Especially if the dems do damage in the mid-terms this November. I don’t have enough time to go into that with this blog. I can only believe it will make 2008-2016 seem like times of prosperity for all and world dominance. Let’s just hope that in the next three years that Trump takes this country to a place where everyone is so tired of winning, even the left, that it won’t even be a consideration . Yeah right. Not that he won’t take us there. It just won’t get reported. So let me hear your thoughts. Am I way off base?
